Water dispute

Water disputes are some of the worlds oldest forms of disputes.

It is believed that the system of taxation originally evolved from the idea of river water sharing.

The roots of the words River and Rivalry are also the same. Some people believe that the the availability of water is what finally made the differences in the form of organization or government of a people. Where water was scarce such as the desert, it made sense to have small bodies of governance with strict rules for the subjects.

Freedom it appears is greater where water is most available.
