Washingtonian

The Washingtonians were a temporance Group from early in the History of the United States. Helped many people recover from alcoholism until the Washingtonian's desire to influence other parts of society caused the group to disband. They were used as a model as what not to do by Alcoholics Anonymous and helped set the concepts of "Singleness of Purpose".
