A wanksta or wangsta is someone who claims to live the gangsta lifestyle just to gain recognition. A wanksta is also someone who moves from the gangsta lifestyle onto a softer status in societ i.e. Ja Rule. see also studio gangsta. Wanker is the English term for masturbator.
