Walter (Beano character)
Walter is a fictional character in the Beano comic strip, and the sworn enemy of Dennis the Menace.
His two best friends are Algernon 'Spotty' Perkins and Bertie Blenkinsop. Walter is a stereotypical "prince of softies" - to illustrate, he likes teddy bears; apart from ones who look too fierce. Walter, Spotty and Bertie once had a competiton to decide who had the cutest teddy - but they agreed that they were all lovely.
He has no pets due to the fact that a goldfish stared at him with its eyes, causing Walter to topple over in fright.
