Vocabulary

A vocabulary is a set of words that a given person knows, or that one is being taught in a specific language.

Example:

  • encyclopedia (in English)
  • 百科事典 (Hyakka-jiten encyclopedia in Japanese)
  • For a sample of Korean and Chinese vocabulary (in comparison), see Hanja.
