Video game publishers publish
video games that either they have developed internally or have had developed by a
video game developer. The publisher usually handles the
manufacturing and distribution of the game. The publisher normally also develops additional content for the game, such as user manuals. Publishers may provide content to the developer during production of the game. Most video game publishers are also developers, using in-house staff to develop games which they will also publish.
