Veendam

Veendam (population: 28,301) is a town in the northeastern Netherlands, in the province of Groningen. The municipality covers an area of 78.81 km2 (of which 2.23 km2 water).

The municipality of Veendam also includes the following towns, villages and townships: Bareveld[?], Borgercompagnie[?], Kibbelgaarn[?], Korte Akkers[?], Numero Dertien[?], Ommelanderwijk[?], Tripscompagnie[?], Wildervank[?], Wildervanksterdallen[?], Zuidwending[?].
