Vasile Miriuta

Vasile Miriuta (Baia Mare, 19 October 1968); Rumanian-born Hungarian soccer player who played in Germany for Energie Cottbus, now active for MSV Duisburg. This midfielder has played 5 matches for the Hungarian national team, in which he scored 1 goal. Famous for his free kicks, and tactical cleverness, this player promoted with Energie Cottbus in 2000, but was fired at the end of 2002 despite having been an important player for the club. Most of his days at MSV Duisburg are yet spent outside the starting eleven.
