"QIM" is the internet handle for Tom Smith. It derives from a spiritual project Tom did with autistics in the early 1990s which produced a book they named "QIM Tunes". It's an acronym for "The Source I aM", with "Q" comming from the German word "quelle" meaning "Source". It's frequently used to describe the suspected source document ("[Q Document]?") for the books of the New Testament.
