I became a member on March 26, 2002, when I created my very first article about Pardubice, my hometown in the beautiful Czech Republic. I would like to add/edit more articles on Wikipedia (mainly about my country, but possibly about other things such as orienteering). Currently I am one of the more active Wikipedians on the Czech version of Wikipedia (http://cs.wikipedia.org). On the Czech Wikipedia I use a log-in name Alva (http://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipediista:Alva).

By the way, do you want to know how I found this epic work called Wikipedia? I looked for some information on AIM-9 Sidewinder missile on Google. And this is where I ended.

OK, few more "useless" pieces of information: I live in Alexandria, Virginia, USA, right now, after graduating from School of Advanced International Studies (http://www.sais-jhu.edu). I work in a small non-profit organization called Business Basics (http://www.businessbasics.org). Our mission is to educate people in Russia about market economy. (I think I can promote our non-profit, right? ;-)
