Welcome to my humble abode. Well, not quite really, but I seem to have become pretty comfortable with Wikipedia, so it almost fits...

Since I intend to be actively contributing to the Wikipedia, I felt that it would be of some service to provide a short page about me. After all, people might like to know who's definition they are getting.

I am a 23 year old, male, caucasian (not that any of that really should matter), Civil Engineering student from Ottawa Canada in my senior (final) year of a Structural engineering degree. My intention is to eventually obtain my doctorate in structural engineering and to teach engineering until the day I die.

I am currently working on several personal projects, including a rather interesting Bridge design based on new materials: The specifications I set out for myself call for zero traditional materials. No metal, no concrete, etc...

Wikipedia wise, I am just starting out. However, I am strongly considering a series of How-tos for the application of engineering principles and techniques. The emphasis would of course be on Structural engineering.

In my rather short life to date I have been many things, but most of all I have learnt and learnt that I love learning most of all. I also picked up the awareness of just how little I know, and hope that through Wikipedia I might be able to exchange some of my knowledge for new learning.

Some interesting quotes:

One dead man is a tragedy. A million dead men is a statistic. Vladimir Lenin

Oh people, know that you have commited great sins. If you ask me what proof I have for these words, it is that I am the wrath of God. Had you not sinned, God would not have set a punishment like me upon you! Genghis Khan
