I have many interests including spending quite alot of time studying and researching, for schoolwork or for personal projects. My interest in computers is quite deep and I have been programming for over 5 years, in languages including Assembler (NASM mostly on linux), C/C++ (MSVC, Borland C, DGJPP on windows and GCC on linux), PHP, HTML, Visual Basic, and many others.

My other main interests are astronomy/astrophysics and microbiology/cellbiology/genetics. Although I am interested in other areas of physics and biology. I am quite fond of mathematics also, but my knowledge in that area isnt very good. I am recently becomming interested in chemistry, especailly relating to biochemistry.

I am also a very keen chess player who plays regularly online, and with friends. I play half-life: counter-strike and a few other games, usually when I am taking a break from my work. I generally enjoy computer engineering and programming/math challenges.

I do listen to music when I am studying occaisonally, although most of the time I prefer silence. The music I listen to is usually hip hop, but I do enjoy music from other genres.
