Just an ordinary, moderately intelligent chap with a fair bit of time on his hands at the moment - so using it to write a few items I know a little bit about. I live in Armidale, NSW in Australia, though I have only recently emigrated here from England. By profession I am a C++ computer programmer, though by education (University of East Anglia) and previous profession I also know something about electronics. I authored the MacZoop framework for the Macintosh. My interests are varied, and at various times I've got involved with all sorts of activities, knowledge of which may also for the basis of contributions. I'm a private pilot, and have a fair bit of interest in aircraft and flying. I used to do a lot of motorsport[?], most particularly rallying, though have not competed for a number of years now. I also enjoy crafts such as metalwork and woodwork[?], and am currently planning to use these skills to build a workable attempt at sustainable housing.
