I'm a Ph.D. student at McGill University, with an extra-curricular interest in Bayesian probability. My ambition with respect to Wikipedia is to update the Principle of maximum entropy, Principle of transformation groups[?], Principle of indifference[?], and Marginalization theory[?] pages with material based on my understanding of these subjects, mostly gleaned from E.T. Jaynes (http://bayes.wustl.edu/etj/etj)'s articles (http://bayes.wustl.edu/etj/node1) and forthcoming book (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0521592712/qid=1048804694/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/104-3370975-3931148?v=glance&s=books). I may also eventually make contributions to entries on the general subject of Proteomics, that being my field of research. But that would be less fun, since Wikipedia is one of the things I do to avoid thinking about my research.

Major contributions:

 Principle of maximum entropy
 Base pair

Minor contributions:

 Eclectic probability
 Quotient rule
 Harmonic series (mathematics)
 George Polya

Extremely minor contributions (TeXification and the like):

 Derivation of the partition function
 Lagrange multipliers
 Hempel's paradox
 Adoption
 Barney & Friends

Please leave comments on my talk page, rather than this page.

Here are my articles in progress. Comments appreciated.

A most extraordinary limit theorem:
<math>\lim_{\omega \to \infty} 3 = 8</math>
