Note to anti-creationists While trying to contribute to biology articles, I have noticed that science has become caught in the crossfire between creationists and anti-creationists. I am half-offended that we can't discuss science without getting sidetracked by discussion of anti-scientists, even if the comments only point out why they are wrong. Your attempts to refute/discredit the creationists are getting in the way of explaining the current scientific theories. I believe that the best way that we can promote science in the face of anti-science heckling and rhetoric is to simply give a clear explanation of the theories.

Furthermore, do not assume that any comment about the limits of a scientific theory is just anti-science propaganda. We (scientists) don't know everything, and we have no problem with that fact. I have reported the current state of scientific opinion regarding "macroevoltion", only to have it erased by someone who interpreted it as creationist propaganda. This person is supposedly on "my side". That is VERY irritating.
