USS Kansas

Two ships of the United States Navy have been named USS Kansas in honor of the 34th state.

The first USS Kansas[?], a gunboat[?], saw action during the American Civil War.

The second USS Kansas (BB-21), a Connecticut-class battleship[?], sailed with the Great White Fleet.
