USS Dace

Two submarines of the United States Navy have borne the name USS Dace, for any of several small North American fresh-water fishes[?] of the carp family.

The first USS Dace (SS-247), a Gato-class submarine, saw action during World War II.

The second USS Dace (SSN-607), a Permit-class submarine[?], patrolled during the Cold War.
