USA Network

The USA Network is one of the original cable TV networks, as it chose to use satellite delivery as opposed to traditional television broadcasting. Originally called Madison Square Garden (not the New York City regional sports network), USA Network went on the air in 1977.

USA Network shows a variety of programming types, from syndicated TV shows to movies. USA also shows some sports coverage, such as select golf and tennis tournaments. In the past, it had a weekly boxing show named USA Tuesday Night Fights[?]. The show ran for approximately 8 years.
