Highway 101 is a north-south highway running near the Pacific coast of the United States from Los Angeles to Olympia, Washington. Highway 101 is part of the United States highway system, predating the Interstate Highway System, though portions of Highway 101 were later merged into the I-5 at the northern and southern extremes.
