United Linux is a consortium of Linux distributors who have banded together to create a common base distribution. The founding members of United Linux are the following companies:

SuSE
Turbolinux
Conectiva
The SCO Group[?] (formerly known as Caldera)

The consortium released its first version of its software on November 19, 2002
