Turner Network Television

Turner Network Television, popularly known as TNT, is a cable TV network created by media mogul Ted Turner in 1987. TNT airs National Basketball Association games and reruns of popular network television shows from the past.

TNT is similar to the TBS Superstation but tends to show more movies and has a few original series.

A British version of TNT was launched in the 1990s but was exclusively dedicated to movies, mainly from the MGM and Warner Brothers archives. It was later renamed TCM (Turner Classic Movies).
