Tuning

Tuning is a process of ensuring that a musical note is played at the correct pitch.

String instruments are tuned by loosening the string to lower the pitch and tightening the string to raise the pitch. Wind instruments are tuned by increasing or decreasing the length of the tubing.

Tuning can be done by ear or using a tuning fork.

Car tuning is the use of technology applied to car passangers, specially GPS, car domotics, , ergonomy[?], in-car entertainment (car-cinema sound and video and DAB).
