Transport phenomena

In physics, transport phenomena are the various mechanisms by which things or quantities can move from one place to another. Two common examples are diffusion and radiation.

Both heat atomic particles can travel either by diffusion or by radiation.

Momentum in a liquid can travel by diffusion, in the case of laminar flow, or by mixing, in the case of turbulent flow.
