The Tradewater Pirates are Western Kentucky[?]'s newest semi-pro baseball team. The team plays at Dawson Springs[?]' Riverside Park, the reconstructed park where major league teams, such as the Pittsburgh Pirates, played spring training games throughout 1915-1917. 1999, the Tradewater Pirates inaugural season, proved very succesful for them. The team hosted a game in the U.S.B.C. World Series.
