Topol

Topol (born September 9, 1935) is an Israeli actor.

Born Chaim Topol in Tel Aviv, Topol came to international attention with his starring (and Academy Award) nominated role in Fiddler on the Roof. Other roles were in Cast a Giant Shadow[?] and the James Bond movie For Your Eyes Only[?].

Received a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination for his performance as Tevye in "Fiddler on the roof" in 1972
