Tongatea

In Polynesian mythology, Tongatea is the wife of Ngaru.

Ngaru was black and entirely bald; Tongatea left him when she saw his appearance. He bleached himself at a limepit and Tangaroa fixed his hair. Tongatea fell back in love with him.
