Tom Wilkinson

Tom Wilkinson (born December 12, 1948) is a British actor. Born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, Tom moved with his family to Canada for several years when young, but returned to the UK, where he graduated from the University of Kent.

Wilkinson worked on several British television series, making the occasional movie, until he hit it big with the international hit The Full Monty in 1997. That success was followed up by Oscar and Lucinda, Wilde, Shakespeare in Love, The Patriot and In the Bedroom, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor.
