Tom Whedon

Tom Wheadon is the father of Joss Whedon, the creator of the successful television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Tom was a writer for the programs The Dick Cavett Show, Alice and The Golden Girls, as well as the children's comic book Spidey Super Stories, a spinoff of the Spiderman continuity, and the related television program The Electric Company, and production of the Children's Television Workshop.
