Tokyo prefecture (東京都; Tokyo-to) is located on Honshu island, Japan. Tokyo prefecture is part of the Kanto region, the capital is Shinjuku.

Tokyo prefecture is divided into wards (区; Ku), cities (市部; Shibu) and islands (島; shima).

  • Wards: Adachi, Arakawa, Bunkyo, Chiyoda, Chuo, Edogawa, Itabashi, Katsushika, Kita, Koto, Meguro, Minato, Nakano, Nerima, Ota, Setagaya, Shibuya, Shinagawa, Shinjuku, Suginami, Sumida, Taito, Toshima

  • Cities: Akishima, Akiruno, Inagi, Oume, Kyose, Kokutachi, Koganei, Kokubunji, Kodaira, Gomae, Tachikawa, Tanashi, Tama, Chofu, Hachioji, Hamura, Higashikurume, Higashimurayama, Higashiyamato, Hino, Fuchu, Fussa, Hoya, Machida, Mitaka, Musashino, Musashimurayama.
