Tightwad is a village located in Henry County, Missouri. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 63.

Geography Tightwad is located at 38°18'22" North, 93°33'5" West (38.306130, -93.551381)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.6 km² (1.0 mi²). 2.6 km² (1.0 mi²) of it is land and 0.99% is water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 63 people, 28 households, and 18 families residing in the village. The population density is 24.3/km² (63.0/mi²). There are 33 housing units at an average density of 12.7/km² (33.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 95.24% White, 0.00% African American, 3.17% Native American, 1.59% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 28 households out of which 21.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.3% are married couples living together, 0.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 35.7% are non-families. 25.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 14.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.25 and the average family size is 2.78.
