Thomas E. Burnett Jr.

Thomas E. Burnett, Jr. (???? - September 11, 2001) was a business executive. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Bloomington, Minnesota after leading the football team to the state semi-finals as their starting quarterback. Thomas was a resident of San Ramon, California where he was the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Thoratec Corporation[?], a medical device manufacturer, in Pleasanton, California.

Burnett died at 38 in the crash of United Airlines flight 93 in the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack. He was able to call his wife four times after the hijackers took control of the plane.

He was survived by his wife, Deena and three daughters.
