The Young Doctors

The Young Doctors was a lightweight Australian early evening soap opera aimed at a teenage audience. The series was set in a hospital and primarily concerned with romances between younger members of the hospital staff.

Produced by Reg Grundy Organisation[?] and screened on Channel Nine[?] from 1976 to 1982. When it ended it was Australia's longest running soap opera, but it has since been supplanted by Neighbours.

Principal cast members included: Alan Dale[?], Rebecca Gilling[?], Cornelia Frances[?], John Walton[?], Delvene Delaney[?], Lynda Stoner[?], Judy McBurney[?], Mark Holden[?], Alfred Sandor[?], Gwen Plumb[?].
