The Pnakotic Manuscripts

Fictional grimoire invented by H.P. Lovecraft in his works Cthulhu Mythos of science fiction / horror fiction. The Pnakotic Manuscripts were said to predate the origin of Man. They are referred to in his works a total of 11 times, only two occasions less than his better-known invention, the Necronomicon of the Mad Arab Abdul Alhazred.
