The Man who Knew Too Much

The Man who Knew Too Much is a suspense film released in 1956. The film was directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The film starred Jimmy Stewart, Doris Day.

The film opens as an American family traveling in Morocco gets mixed up in an international plot to assassinate a political leader. Doctor and Mrs. McKenna (Jimmy Stewart and Doris Day)'s son is kidnapped to prevent Doctor McKenna from telling the police what he knows.

The movie takes place in Morocco and London, England. The film climatic movement takes place at Albert Hall.

John Michael Hayes provided the screen play.

The 1956 film was a remake of Hitchcock's 1934 film by the same name. The 1934 film differs from the 1956 film in that the main characters are British, their child is a girl and the film takes place in Switzerland and Britain. The film starred Leslie Banks[?], Edna Best[?] and Peter Lorre.
