The Man in the Iron Mask is a movie written and directed by Randall Wallace and released in 1998, based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas.

Its cast included Leonardo DiCaprio in the double role of King Louis XIV and Philippe, Gabriel Byrne as D'Artagnan[?] and Anne Parillaud as Anne of Austria. The three musketeers were portrayed by Jeremy Irons (Aramis), John Malkovitch[?] (Athos) and Gérard Depardieu (Porthos).
