The Futurological Congress

The Futurological Congress is a novel by Stanislaw Lem detailing the exploits of the hero of a number of his books, Ijon Tichy[?], when he visits the Eighth World Futurlogical Congress at the Costa Rica Hilton.

Various adventures and misfortunes befall the hero, most of which are the result of the government bombing the hotel with LTN bombs (Love Thy Neighbour). The hallucinogenic effects of the bombs result in a number of situations where you question what reality actually is.
