The Field

The Field is a 1990 film which tells the story of a tenant farmer who attempts to outbid an American developer for the parcel of land that his family has farmed for generations. It stars Richard Harris, Sean Bean[?], Frances Tomelty[?], Brenda Fricker[?] and John Hurt.

The movie was adapted by Jim Sheridan[?] from the play by John B. Keane[?]. It was directed by Sheridan.

It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor (Richard Haris).
