The Digital Village

The Digital Village (TDV) was a digital media company based in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1994, and the science-fiction/comedy writer Douglas Adams was one of the founding members.

TDV produced the computer game Starship Titanic, and started H2G2, a community site dedicated to producing what is referred to as the Earth edition of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

After Adams's sudden death on May 11, 2001, TDV ceased to exist as a registered company.
