The Cramps

Formed by Lux Interior[?] and Poison Ivy (a contraction of her original stagename, "Poison Ivy Rorschach")in the late 1970s, the Cramps mixed punk rock with early rockabilly and sixties garage rock to create a style of music that became very influential. They are credited with coining the term "psychobilly" although both Lux Interior and Poison Ivy are adamant that this does not accurately reflect their style of play.

Other band members: Kid Congo Powers[?]
