The Chase Manhattan Corporation was a bank holding company.

Its lead bank was The Chase Manhattan Bank.

In 1996, aquired/merged with Chemical Banking Corporation.

On December 31, 2000, merged with J.P. Morgan & Co.[?] to form J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
