The Castle (movie)

The Castle is an Australian film that was launched to much acclaim in Australia but which is not well understood by those unfamiliar with Australian humor and values.

The films story line follows the attempts of Dale Kerrigan to prevent the eviction of himself and family.

The humor in The Castle plays on the self image of Australians, most notably the concept of "the little Aussie battler".

The movie title is so named with the ideal that 'Every person's home is their Castle.'
