The Apostle

The Apostle is a 1997 film which tells the story of a minister who puts his wife's lover into a coma, then flees, trying to make something out of the rest of his life. It stars Robert Duvall, Farrah Fawcett, Billy Bob Thornton, June Carter Cash, Miranda Richardson and Todd Allen[?].

The movie was written and directed by Duvall.

It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor (Robert Duvall).
