700 Club

Redirected from The 700 Club

The 700 Club is a Christian talk show hosted by religious leader Pat Robertson, airing in syndication throughout the United States and Canada.

The show presents news stories from a Christian perspective, often relating stories to passages from the Bible. It also features celebrity and other interviews about their feelings on Christianity.

The number 700 comes from the Robertson's first televised telethon for his ministry. In it, he set a goal of 700 members paying $10 each a month, a number which would meet the industry's operating budget at the time. Robertson came to refer to these members as the '700 Club' and the name stuck.
