The Thaipusam festival is a yearly festival celebrated by followers of the Hindu faith.

The festival involves feats of endurance, such as extensive body piercing.

In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Hindu community gathers in Batu Caves for this festival. The normally quiet caves are visited by hundreds of thousands of celebrants over the course of the festival.
