Thad Cochran

William Thad Cochran (born 7 December 1937) is a Mississippi politican.

He was born in Ponotoc, Mississippi to William Holmes Cochran and Emma Grace Cochran, a principal and teacher, respectively. His family settled in Hinds County[?] in 1946 after a few moves around northern Mississippi. Cochran received a B.A. degree with a major in psychology and a minor in political science in 1959.
