Teutons

The Teutons were a Germanic people dating from the Late Roman Empire and several centuries after it's fall. They maintained some rule over the Holy Roman Empire through their most famous leader, Frederic Barbarossa

The terms "Teuton" and "Teutonic" have sometimes been used in reference to all of the Germanic peoples.
