Terry-Thomas

Terry-Thomas (14 July 1911 - 8 January 1990) was a distinctive British comic actor of the 1950s and 1960s.

He was famous for his trademark gap in his front teeth, cigarette holder, dressing gown, and such catch-phrases as, "Ding-dong!" and, "You're an absolute shower!"

Something of a cultural icon to subsequent generations of dapper, dandy, well-groomed, gentlemen-about-town, he was particularly famous for his portrayal of the archetypal cad, bounder, and absolute rotter.
