TDF (TenDRA Distribution Format) was developed at the Royal Signals and Radar Establishment in the UK [1] (http://www.qinetiq.com/about_qinetiq/history) as a successor to Ten15. It was designed to allow support for C. More details are at www.tendra.org (http://www.tendra.org/).
