Taylor is a city located in Stark County, North Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 150.

Geography Taylor is located at 46°54'8" North, 102°25'22" West (46.902109, -102.422832)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.3 km² (0.5 mi²). 1.3 km² (0.5 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 150 people, 65 households, and 44 families residing in the city. The population density is 115.8/km² (301.5/mi²). There are 83 housing units at an average density of 64.1/km² (166.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 65 households out of which 23.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.8% are married couples living together, 9.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 32.3% are non-families. 30.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.31 and the average family size is 2.86.

In the city the population is spread out with 22.0% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 19.3% from 25 to 44, 29.3% from 45 to 64, and 22.7% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 46 years. For every 100 females there are 80.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 80.0 males.

The median income for a household in the city is $28,958, and the median income for a family is $30,750. Males have a median income of $17,500 versus $17,500 for females. The per capita income for the city is $13,846. 9.4% of the population and 0.0% of families are below the poverty line.
