Tariq ibn-Ziyad

Tariq ibn-Ziyad was an army leader of the moors, who led the Arab conquest of Visigoth Christian Spain in 711 AD. Tariq's army landed in Gibraltar and managed to conquer most of Spain in an eight-year campaign.
